I find it interesting that the points he uses to present what he’s advocating for the individual believer’s and church community’s life are much the same as those used by most who want to advocate for a more ‘radical’ Christian life of some sort, or another, or another.

Far too often we take humility and modesty into the realm of despair and hopelessness. Haugen admits his own hesitation in leaving jusy high courgae, successful job as a US justice department lawyer to pioneer this rescue organization. I’m going to have to leave my comfort zone and my safety if I want to truly experience the power of God.
