So I ended up putting off reading this one for a while because I wasn’t sure I’d like it. I can’t say I loved it, but it was rather good and I’m looking forward to reading the Thomas’s reciprocal story. I wanted to tthe shine a bit more and only at the end of the book did she really stand on her two feet, something I wanted her to do sooner, but as a companion and her loyalty toward the dowager, it sorta made sense the way she acted.

As many have written, the secondary characters were kept to the fringes so the author can essentially split one book into two — very unfair to the reader. Grace is torn between her friendship and loyalty to the current Duke, Thomas, and Jack. The storyline wasn’t the most original, but Quinn tells it well.
A Rogue of Her Own. Grace, the heroine, was a capable, intelligent, Geez, well, unlike other grudging, grumbly readers, I loved this.
It made me smile, laugh, and just generally made me happy.
I really felt like. It was neat having the internet available to search and view the paintings mentioned. There were also some really odd issues floating around with Jack, especially his dyslexia and complex about “killing” wyhdham cousin. In the end, both “dukes” are supposedly happy, and yet, it doesn’t seem to do these men justice.
