I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to get a strong fundamental understanding of grid systems in design. The quality of the text varies and I have no idea what form systdms might take in the future. It permits a number of possible uses and each designer can look for a solution appropriate to his personal style.
Personality is defined in two ways: BUT, it’s awesome as bilingual text. It contained many examples and included explanations on why the example was a good or bad example of grid-based design, which helps the reader develop a stronger understanding of grid design in practice.
