Elsewhere it doesnt seem to matter on the driver board. F or LS will work.

Arduino and P-channel FET? Control 12V A

Would anyone happen to know if a 74F08 would be a good replacement for the ICs that sit in between the PIA and the pre-driver transistors? All signs point to yes, but I’d like to get someone else’s confirmation. I get nothing when the same is done on the bottom ones. TAXI red hair version playfield. Can anyone help me understand how I can determine this stuff for myself?

Q52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 62 and 64, as per this guide:. TAXI blond hair version playfield. It’s hard to go wrong So either I’m not performing my test correctly since I don’t have actual transistors or lamps ultimately hooked up to the output pins of these s or they’re both smoked. Those replacements arrived, and before putting them in, I compared them to the non-fried ones I had in there from my first order.

So I’m trying to figure out if the existing ‘s were damaged when I powered the machine on.

I’ve seen the 74LS08 recommended as well. I’ll have to take it up with the people I ordered these parts from and be a bit more aware of the parts I get in the future. This irf9z34h was optimised for printing. You You are not signed in!

Datasyeet to see you’re enjoying Pinside! I’d replace the I turned the machine on, with only a few lamps connected to the board.

Here are the three datasheets for these ICs. I mean ‘they’ will take care of this. That is one hard-to-read page. Certain page elements may have been deliberately hidden. I won’t have access to another System 11 until Monday at the earliest, but since GPE has them for 35 cents a pop, I may as well get them and datasehet sockets to go with them.

What I found was weird.

I heard a pop, and immedately turned them off. Linked Games Taxi Williams, Need to use high current 74F or 74S here. LS would probably be better.

View topic image gallery. You must use 74F in the solenoid driver side of the board. You’re testing it correctly. Shoot that “anonymous” source an email.

I figured it out. That said, if it was me, and I needed a and only had a 74F08, I’d give it a try. G-P-E’s right – the vatasheet spec that matters for that is that the minimum sink current be high. Here’s a web page with a cool chart to show if a logic family will work with a different logic family: I irf9z34m like it’s a page taken out of some kind of CS class curriculum.

The good thing is that you have pulsing from the PIA – he’s not dead. I see I missed the important bit where UB said this is for the solenoid driver transistor thought they were just driving other logic. Topic Gallery One image has been uploaded to this datasheeet. Yorktown Parts and Equip. Switch drivers have 4. The high from the blanking normal anded with a pulse from the PIA normal and the having a steady state — not normal.

When I reverse the leads, though, I get.
