It just so happens that this is one of my favourite films and while it largely follows the film as you’d expect, there is enough extra inner dialogue and character background included to make this more than a script read through. Will the Highlander win? The Kurgan, his ancient adversary, has tracked him all the way to the streets of New York City.
Awesome adaptation of the original film, with some extra goodies that weren’t in the film. Later that night, Kastagir helps him escape and leads him to a British Camp. Conner’s life before his immortality is explained further, as are the thoug I’m a big fan of this movie, despite its many flaws, because it’s a clever story and tries to make some impact with its visual style.
Want to Read saving…. Kastagir shows up dressed in tribal garb and speaks to Conner and warns him that the warrior is also an immortal who will use a broad axe while he will have to use a spear. It also gives a more complicated wild ride than the final version in the film.
In retrospect- my nerd friends are selfish and opinionated. During the chicken race, the Kurgan slows down to turn a corner and at that moment, Brenda jumps out of the car and runs across the street to some guys and begs for help.

Angus intervenes and walks him out of the village as in the film. Overall, I enjoyed this book and it made me appreciate the entire Highlander saga even better.
According to him, he preferred fighting on the side of the barbarian hordes over civilized armies. The street gang that pull out knives and close in for an attack. A Scottish clan warrior from the 16th century, he was taught the deadly arts by an ancient mentor, who then suffered the only wound that can end an Immortal’s life: After several days of feeding him to fatten him up, Conner soon realized that he was being fattened up for a fight with their best warrior.

I don’t recall the clash with Fasil being written hiighlander and it just seemed odd. Getting dressed, he follows her to the local tavern where Kate accuses him of being in league with Lucifer. Where did the immortals come from or how do they become one? If you’re a fan of the movie, which I am, you’ll love this book. Ramirez had told him that immortals were tied to the life-force of all living things. Eventually he gives up waiting and leaves. He goes to the bar where he and the bartender both listening to the news report of the new beheading and the reporter giving a description of the killer.
So, I’ll try to keep my review solely on the book.
