Obviously since the title carries the name of nmap this book is mainly about how to use that program efficiently but you can boko find good information about portscanning in general. More than half of the book is available free online. In case it isn’t obvious from my web sites, I am a hacker. Nmap’s original author, Gordon “Fyodor” Lyon, wrote this book to share everything he has learned about network scanning during more than 11 years of Nmap development.
