This is another brilliant story in the Morganville series and a really good entnralled to end the anthology. Kelley Armstrong is my favorite author, though, so I’d probably say the same thing if she’d written a book of limericks. Skin Contact by Kimberly Derting: Apr 29, Kathy Martin rated it really liked it.

I think twins a Unlike all my other reviews I plan on being somewhat helpful in this one, so Im going to review each story seperately with a few dot points. Just love it for my bedside table this Fall.

Enthralled : Paranormal Diversions

A Royal Guide to Monster Slaying. So sad to find out that this is not a part of a series, or I’m not searching right. Because it talks about the Sphere and on the cover Cassia is in a sphere. It had absolutely nothing to say to me.

So to be frank, it was a tad boring and perhaps the worst story in this anthology. Plus, it’s set in Texas. Authors such as Kelley Armstrong, Rachel Caine, and Melissa Marr return to the beloved worlds of their bestselling series, while others, like Claudia Gray, Kami Garcia, and Margaret Stohl, create new landscapes and characters. Right now I wish that Barnes would get on her computer and write a whole book dedicated to this plot and storyline.

I dont like Sabine. The Best Books of When some got too “heavy”, along came a story to rescue the mood. It was quite a feat, because it had to explain the mechanics of a world where children see ghosts, one that is explained in a series of books by the same author. It’s about a ghost trying to het in touch with his living brother. You just kind of have to go along for the ride. Rachel Caine’s story bored me, as did Jennifer Lynn Barnes’ that really surprised me.

League by Margaret Stohl Original story. The writing, the characters Extras 18 AutomaticWicked Lovely 5.

I’m usually wary of buying anthologies, because they always seem to be a mixed bag – some stories leave wnthralled wanting so much more while others leave you wondering why you bothered to read them in the first place. It was surprising that Rafe was introduced in Desires of the Dead.

Open Preview See a Problem? They don’t know what waits for them at their destination but they know it’s vital they make there alive. Books by Melissa Marr. I loved every word of it! It reminded me of olden fairytales the proper ones like the Grimm Brothers etc but still being a bit more family friendly. After the last 2 stories, this one is so satisfying!

This one is jus Here are the stories contained in this anthology which all take some form of a detour.

Automatic by Rachel Caine – A soda machine full of canned blood is set up to meet the ever-growing demand for the vampires of Morganville. It was beautifully written though, and it had something to say.

I am afraid this story was the worst of the anthology. It would be cool to read more about this world. It centers on Michael, a vampire and Eve, his human girlfriend. Feb 09, Amber at Fall Into Melissq rated it liked mlissa. So take my review of this story with a grain of salt.

Rachel Cain – Automatic Hmmmz, interesting. You submitted the following rating and review. Even though one said Lawrence and the other Juliet, but that was solved in the next page as the story got going. Let’s Get this Undead Show on the Road by Sarah Rees Brennan What happens when you leave a vampire and three humans in a locked room with only food supplied for the humans? And this short story did nothing for me. Sabine and Emma take a road trip from Soul Screamers.

A Girl and Her Wolf.

The story goes into detail about Michael and a new machine that dispense blood like a coke machine at Amelie’s request. It’s about the main character has to deal with the melisssa of the things she did in the past and also her friend there semi close finds out a big secret about herself and runs away while the main melisss tries to help her and find her, some serious things happen that affects everyone around her.

This would be wonderful to be a full feature.

And no one can find you. After having read a couple of stories, my favorite is “Gargouille” by Mary E. Kami Garcia – Red Run.
