Emblaze (Violet Eden Chapters / Embrace, book 3) by Jessica Shirvington

I kind of wished there was one of those lists in the back where you can see their names and who they are and what classification they are. The walking away from each other, ignoring, trying to hide from one another, the little moments of joy then the ripping out of your heart Can this series get any better? There was action on every page–they were fighting exiles, or Phoenix stops in for a visit–there was always something new happening. May I direct you to the quotes above?

In the back of the book it says it won’t be out until october I NEED to know what happens! And fingers crossed for that Spence spin-off. Their chemistry is unmistakable even if it doesn’t stand up to what she has with Lincoln IMO.

Lincoln also stepped up in this book. Phoenix also has his heart in the right place, he may eventually kill Violet, but he does still care in the fact that only he is allowed to kill her, and he will kill anyone else who tries, I like that in a man. I’m enjoying the progress of Dapper, Onyx and even Jase. I cannot fault either one of them; Lincoln is that perfectly supportive and protective man that girls dream of being with and boys dream of being, and Phoenix is that Dark Exile with a past that consumes and forces him to make the wrong decisions and who constantly fights for the humanity that is slowly dissolving inside of him.

Plus, she is your mother! View all 5 comments. His arms shook as he took the baby. Now Violet has something Phoenix – the exiled angel who betrayed her – will do anything for, and she has no intention of letting it fall into his hands. I liked the addition of these characters, especially Morgan. I’ll try for a full review soon.

And this is what sets off the line of events in Emblaze. A supposedly dead wife. Emblaze was the epitome of a great novel. One scene in particular stuck out for me; the one with The Keeper of the Island — Irin. How could you leave us with that ending?! Phoenix is still the boy you love to hate, only now almost morphing into someone you hate to love.

It was as if he had always been there. D The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 would’nt let me do 4.

Even Stepanie Meyer found a way for a human and a vampire to get married and have a baby in 4 books I’m just sayin. The only problem is that he has something she needs too. I want to finish this as a human. Home Contact Us Help Free delivery worldwide.

Sometimes it’s compelling and shocking, other times its cringe-worthy cheesiness had me rolling my eyes constantly. But then at the same time I can’t help but be curious about what would happen if Phoenix manages to get her back. But by the end of Emblaze I have to say I am over it.

Violet and Lincoln’s story is spectacular and I just can’t get enough.

The climax when Vi is hanging on the edge and Linc admits all just had me fogging up my reading glasses and Spence gave great comical relief when things were getting so frustrating and heart racing as I felt all of Vi’s emotions when her soul was clawing out of her.

He introduced shirviington, unnecessarily.

Emblaze (The Violet Eden Chapters, #3) by Jessica Shirvington

It was done-her ultimate joy now within her reach, just as her ultimate sacrifice extended its hand to her. I could gush about these books all day. Spence was a big impact throughout this book, helping Violet and being a really good friend that Violet just needed.

Lincoln is too aloof for my tastes whereas Phoenix shows his vulnerability and his bad boy charm for Violet to see. Thanks for telling us about the problem.

Exiles–are racing to decipher an ancient scripture that would allow anyone banished to the Underworld to return.

The cliffhanger on this book made me want to cry thinking about waiting for the next one but boy was the next one even worse You know by now that I love these books. Once again Jessica Shirvington manages to delivers to the extreme – with perfectly rounded characters, relationships and a thrilling plot! He is such a good friend to Vi even though he doesn’t always agree with her decisions. I was seriously pissed off at her. He tilted his head once in mute confirmation that carried remorse.

She looks just like you. Fantasy Books for Kids. I definitely appreciate that while this is a tale of angels and those that have fallen, it does not feel like a religious tale at all.

I think if you didn’t like him that much to the previous books i think you are going to love it in Emblaze at least like him much more at least One of the reason i adored even more Lincoln was behind in this book we get to see more his feelings to Violet and how he prefer to push those feelings aside so She can be happy and She can be stronger her and him as Grigori.

All the time she had spent deliberating over when to tell him everything-how to explain he would grow old while she would merely age a few years.
