Also, although I understand that the book was based on the author’s life, I thought that the combination of experiences and style were just creepy, especially since the matter of fact tone did not reveal any emotion.

There was quite a bit I didn’t initially pick up on, although I can’t say for sure if this is due to ambiguity in the text or mamaliba I read this book really fast. Binaca Dumitrescu rated it did not like it Jul 14, I appreciate that in many instances the author told the facts as she knew them at the time for example, in the point of view of a child but I think that later she probably learned more information that could have been added, even if it was at the end of the book.
