If you do want to read this, I recommend doing so after watching the anime for yourself, as it will give you a very good grounding in the characters and the imagery that the novel itself is actually lacking. For this reason, I would probably recommend buying the paperback of this novel rather than the eBooks which are split into two volumes as the first novel is not great when read in isolation.


Especially as that character had an established name. I was finally able to dig into the book, and I must say that it was one of the most engrossing reading experiences I have had this year.
